He was professional, firm, yet knowledgeable about the duodenal switch. I even have his cell phone number. What an amazing surgeon. I am confident in his ability to do a safe job. I know this is supposed to be about the surgeon, but I cannot say enough about Robbie, the nurse in the office (who happens to be closely related to the surgeon). She took my calls at any time, and encouraged me through the process. She is a God-send. I also had a bowel obstruction while in the hospital on one of the first few days. Dr. Peters stayed by my side and went to radiology with me to make sure whatever it was had passed. He really cares about the patients. Also, the nursing staff at CMC in Scranton were WONDERFUL.
